My son somehow managed to briefly hit the button on the living room powerstrip. Everything in the room (xbox360 included) power spiked. The xbox front button started flashing red and green, like a undercover police car in my rear view mirror. I got a little bit worried, but we’ve had interrupted xbox downloads before.
We turned the xbox360 off, and back on. Booted up fine. I logged into my profile and checked the “Active downloads”.
We have “V for Vendetta” at 34%. Download successfully picked up where it was interrupted.
That gave me an idea: I decided to power the xbox down and to swap it with the basement xbox. The damn constant fan noise was driving me crazy. Not sure why I didn’t think of it earlier.
Booted up fine. And it’s still plugging. It’s been 19 hours since the download started. It’s still clocking in with a ETA time of Sunday morning, 10-11 AM EST.
It’s peace and quiet in the living room again!
